Lisa was running a 911 call in April of 1993 when the ambulance was involved in a horrible crash! A flight nurse saw the accident happen and stopped to help. That flight nurse was a true “knight in shining armor” and helped Lisa get through the worst night of her life. She never got to say "thank you" until several weeks later as fate would have it while on a first date, she realizes that sitting in front of her was that very University of Chicago flight nurse who came to her rescue! The two were married 6 months later!
Scott & Lisa DeBoer for over 25 years have dedicated their lives to education, and started a seminar company” Pedi-Ed-Trics” that is dedicated to "teaching better ways to care for kids." Since its founding in 1996, they have managed to grow Pedi-Ed-Trics into the largest Pediatric Emergency Medical Education company in the United States.
