The Rescue Indoctrination Class is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for Rescue Swimmer Awareness & Operations Level for emergency responses to Surface and Surf water incidents. This can also be used during diving applications by offering a reasonable response to a distressed/panicked individual in the water. It will discuss the types of Rescue Swimmer equipment and techniques. The objective of this course is to train technical level rescue swimmers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures of rescue swimming in emergency response per NFPA 1006 & 1670.
